Quote:We knew there will be challenges, even if they’re not as bad as the Delta variant,” said Green.

“We really do not want to lock down again ... We really do not want to restrict any activities. We really want to get back to normal.”

I really hope the voters in this state reject this turd.

I really hope the voters in this state reject this turd.

Consider: this "turd" is our least bad option ... and it doesn't really matter who wins anyway; we lose.

A doctor.
Maybe running for governor.
Possibly during a public health crisis.
Whether you like his decisions or not, he does sound qualified.

Sounds qualified to talk about muh covids forever and ever and ever and ever. No thanks.

The last thing I want is a doctor who is focused too much on this. Sounds like a great way to get Ige 2.0 whiplash edition.

I'd rather vote for kander.

I ain't too sure he's on the ticket.. But hey, no worries, you'll still be able to vote for BJ, so all's to the good, right?

Quote:Roth said. “We’ll probably continue to require masks indoors and encourage them, but not require them, in larger outdoor settings.

I misread that at first and almost got excited...

At least he is loosening things. I will not be happy masks are still en vogue next year though.

What, pray tell, does your happiness have to do with anything? Covid doesn't care if you are happy.

RE: Restrictions to continue! - kalakoa - 11-30-2021

Covid doesn't care if you are happy.

More to the point, policymakers responding to COVID don't care if you're happy.

I, for one, fully expect Ige to rescind his previously announced relaxation of restrictions, "due to the huge threat from this new omicron variant". While still allowing vaccinated individuals to bypass quarantine. For everyone's safety and protection and hospital capacity (but not high grocery bills or gas prices).

up until last month, Vaccine was defined as something that provided immunity. Now its to stimulate the immune response to a disease. while both may infer the same result, There is a huge difference between immunity and stimulating. Immunity is permanent, stimulating can be paid for by the hour.
