RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - TomK - 09-18-2016 AP claims: "woops forgot to add link for tom. http://www.nsf.gov/mps/ast/aaac/reports/gsmt-jwst_synergy_combined.pdf" No, the text you wrote does not come from that site. You copied it without attribution from the site I mentioned. RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - Guest - 09-18-2016 Yes confused my two links ... Realized and quickly deleted it. no worries ... RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - Guest - 09-18-2016 Now I wonder, Since you obviously reading my posts I'm still waiting for your answer to "and you used "whackjob" because ???? " And did you ever open your mind to Polynesian Navigation Research ? "ETA, no one else is allowed to post fun stuff or opinions on this thread ? B.C. that's what it's looking like. chillaxe man, and go check out Mau Piailug up on Mauna Kea. The research and journey will "educate" you." - AP RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - TomK - 09-18-2016 You only posted one link, one that you didn't copy from (but later claimed you did). The other link was the one I gave. So now your post is back to plagiarism - copying others' work, not attributing it and trying to make it look as your own. Disgraceful. RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - Guest - 09-18-2016 Heres another one for ya Tom. You can go ahead and post the link for me here as well. When you do, it will show information is true and unaltered just like the previous one. "Once a supernova is located and its type determined, accurate measurements of changes in its brightness over a period of several weeks to a couple of months are essential in order to determine its true intrinsic brightness. Because of the distorting effects of “seeing” introduced by the earth’s atmosphere, supernova and galaxy light are blurred together, rendering accurate brightness measurements impossible. Only with the undistorted and stable images provided by a telescope in space is it possible to carefully separate supernova and galaxy light and derive accurate supernova brightness. Still waiting on Now I wonder, Since you obviously reading my posts I'm still waiting for your answer to "and you used "whackjob" because ???? RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - Guest - 09-18-2016 in other words, you cannot prove me wrong RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - Guest - 09-18-2016 A link for new readers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirty_Meter_Telescope_protests RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - PaulW - 09-18-2016 Ignore the spamtroll |
