RE: mosquito control options - riverwolf - 06-05-2012 Can vouch for the Muscovy's. Over the years my wife and I have had many breeds of ducks (and chickens/geese). The Muscovy is very hardy. They do not "quack" but they do make a "hissing" noise. They are also a good meat bird. Lots of people find them less attractive than other duck breeds. Ducks are also gentler on the garden than chickens. enjoy. riverwolf RE: mosquito control options - missydog1 - 06-05-2012 Not chlorine, chloramines -- they don't evaporate. Google them. Don't know if catchment water has them. |
