@TomK - My theory is that channel 45 from Mauna Kea will eventually run NBC and CBS when they switch to digital. They currently have not yet applied to do this, but need to before the end of 2015, when the FCC says the remaining low-power TV stations must convert to digital.

Channel 45, depending on how they engineer it, could possibly have the biggest and strongest signal on Hawai`i island, and will cover HPP well. But they have not submitted the application yet-- so don't hold your breath yet!
