A landmark local business owner setting up in an existing building that already has a commercial kitchen and correct zoning still has to argue with County ... about what, exactly?

They did extensive renovations including adding a bar.Building code has changed since that building was built also.

They are good citizens. I wish them luck in the new location. We've lost some character -- Luquin's was divinely dive-y. I always took a bath if I briefly rested my elbows on the table, which I was raised not to do (my fault). Sticky. I'm contemplating a personal visit to Mexico to recruit a cook for them. I will smuggle him into the Kingdom by routing him through several foreign nations until I get to him to one where no visa is required for US entry. We will forge a passport there. Yes, I'm announcing my intentions here. Come and get me when this form of speech is no longer protected by the First Amendment and when I have taken some concrete step in furtherance of this

It was one year ago today that Luquin’s burned. Only one year is pretty fast recovery for Pahoa.

Here's the latest.The men's restroom didn't have a urinal.They have to put in a urinal because they have a bar.
