you should have told them anyway instead of coming here to bitch about it when they cannot even defend themselves or learn from constuctive criticism. Another local business destroyed by before they have a chance to get off the ground .. You people just don't realize the damage u doing to good folks who want to give they dreams a go. Maybe the are new to the business.

Nothing personal, but people tend to apply they own standards to things without thinking we not all the same. if its not your way, it must be wrong and ill reviewed right away. Can be positive just as quick and yeah . mo betta to help them. Your little hobby lady'$ thing ( sandwich ) is just a quicky that you happen to like. FYI, its not even close.

What you just tried was another version . maybe u did not like it. Some people think Dominos/Pizza Hut is good and or real too.

Shoots its a bummer about the hair but come on .. So OA . think of all the ones u missed and enjoyed. Pull it out or bring it to they attention lest u get it again. How does it help to not let them know and just go online instead ?

for anyone still reading . i pulled one from cnn so some of u can believe its true : )

My wife and I ate there Thursday. We are not going back. I had the chicken pho and it was OK but bland - I don't do sriracha. My wife had a sandwich and said it was fair. We much prefer the Vietnamese place behind Garden Exchange.

RWR says,

Can be positive just as quick...

I look forward to seeing this advice applied elsewhere on Punaweb.

Wait, what? A few mixed reviews on Punaweb and they are destroyed? Should Yelp and Google be banned from reviewing them as well? Nonsense. I appreciate TC's review... we're here to help each other find good food, not to teach new restaurants Business 101. But on that subject, some tips for a new restaurant from a former busboy/dishwasher/cook:

1. To have any chance at all, you have to go above and beyond in your first year. Offer huge portions. Smile and wave. Fawn and fuss. Offer more than one napkin. No stink eye. You are going to lose money while you build your customer base; that's just the way it goes.

2. Most new restaurants fail. Like 90%. Only open if you really like your odds.

3. Do not open a restaurant in a location that has just lost half its customers due to lava flow.

4. Do not open a restaurant in a location less than a mile from a new mall under construction featuring half a dozen new restaurants.

"you should have told them anyway instead of coming here to bitch about it"

I worked in the restaurant business on and off for over 10 years. I have a pretty good grasp of the things people complain about, and the things that restaurant operators are receptive to hearing.

It's not like I posted anonymously on Yelp. (I have never posted on Yelp). People on Punaweb have had several years to form their own opinions on what I post. They know the difference between "bitching" and "sharing". Perhaps the root of your frustration is not understanding the difference between the two.

YES lodestone Destroyed.

Nothing nice to say fine, let your local friends know. The rest of the world can figure things out when they try the food themselves. Think about it.

And yea, grow a pair and let them kindly know right then and there. They might not like to hear it but also don't assume they won't or flat out never knew.

This is a NEW place trying...Give them a chance to breathe and help when you can. Isnt that nicer?

RWR, Pay attention. I am the moderator here. Not you.

Terracore, you are one of my favorites here and i appreciate and learn from your posts. You also seek information similar to the way i do myself.

Its painful to write this stuff to you but you have done it before with another restuant. My opinion is contradictory to yours.

And im sticking to my choice of words. i would not call them that if you were in my resturant and came to let me know.

Former Family resturant / bar owner. Restaurant sold and still going stong.
