Frank, I've already said what I like. On a parallel line of thought perhaps you might prefer the 800+ moai on Rapa Nui should be removed.

Art is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

Perhaps if you have pictures of these domes and posted links to them then it might be considered art.

yeah, I never saw the observatories as desecrating Mauna Kea, but rather as modern heiau paying tribute to her. From those pure heights we can see the heavens better than most any other place in the world. If that's not sacred and holy, then I don't know what is!
