So this is more of a guess about what the catastrophes might have been, and not necessarily based on factual details. I think the doctor views the response of the medical profession to COVID positively, but the late actions by Hawaii government, and then the early lifting of restrictions by some County mayors as exacerbating and extending the crisis. Then again I've heard there are some folks in Puna who think/thought a requirement to wear a mask in public was an unbearable catastrophe.
