"I have nothing further to add."

But I do!

It appears that our "Punaweb chief troll, poop poster and pervert" has made 3 contributions to Hawaii Civil Beat.

First one in 2016, then in 2020 and the last in 2022.

All three were "opinion" pieces.

I agree that Civil Beat does have some excellent news reporting, but opinion pieces are just that.

Opinion pieces.

So, that's MY opinion!

Take it as you please!

excellent news reporting, but opinion pieces are just that.

Exactly.
A good news site clearly labels opinion pieces as opinion, so don’t throw the baby (good investigative journalism) out with the bath water.

Then there are some, many, too many phony reporting sites that pretend to provide you with the news, but there’s always something extra, they make connections that aren’t there, or have an agenda to support. If their “news” almost always supports their agenda, they’re either brainwashing you or training you like Pavlov’s dog.

Or both. Sometimes they want you to salivate (then bark), sometimes they want your quiet obedience, even when you can’t believe your eyes.
