The specification for these is minimum 12" at the smallest part which would be the top.

Mark I do assume they are treated and perhaps cut and notched/fitted on the mainland. I do not have specifics but I am still investigating and trying to learn.

If I can help let me know. I got a pole house permitted for the Kona side recently. We used a pole house company set of plans to start and made some custom mods. Then I stamped the new version and the county plan checkers and inspectors were fine with it.
