Maybe, but that's usually the nonsense I hear from astrologers.

"Enjoy the full moon.(That's just an unrelated but kind of cool segue)."

"The full moon was a couple of days ago."

"I think maybe it's the metaphorical "moon" we've been given."

"That policy makes a lot of ppl reconsider running."

"nonsense I hear from astrologers"

Something piqued my interest on this month's full moon and then Tom's mention of astrologers.

So, I looked up the Moon Phase Calendar on the Astro-Seek.com website for the full moon that happened on February 12, 2025:
  • Moon in Leo
  • You feel safe in moments when you can impress others and get praise and admiration. Yet, when you get into the spotlight, you may find yourself at a loss. Maybe you should admit your fear of criticism and your inability to accept criticism. It is very important to accept feedback and use it for improvement.

I am at a loss as to what to think.

I'm trying to figure out if this is aimed at one particular star sign or everyone on the planet. Even if this applied to 1/12 of the Earth's population, it would be quite remarkable if you couldn't find some correlation. I also note the site recommends:

"Surgical operations:
NO! - Surgical operations are strongly not recommended during the Full Moon!"

This is the nonsense, downright dangerous, and expensive advice you get from "professional" astrologers, and I've fought against it for decades.

By the way, Mercury goes retrograde from March 14th through April 16th. Everyone, including PW members, will struggle with communication issues during that time. I just thought I'd give everyone a heads-up.

I was actually referring to the practice of "mooning" which, if you have ever been on the receiving end (no pun intended), feels remarkably similar to reading an HPP thread.

" I want whatever you tell me that you want."

I want mailboxes and the current mailbox progress to continue.

I can't argue with you here, since you clearly have vast experience at being "mooned" which does beg the question as to why.

Do you think a gentle soul like myself would know about mooning?

I caught such an event some years ago while doing daytime testing of our telescope remotely from Hilo. A couple walked into view of our main webcam, and the male mooned it.  This was caught since the webcam has a live view and is moveable, and since we had no speakers, I could use the camera to communicate. I had to respond purely by moving the camera. Left-right meant no, don't do that, up-down meant yes, up-only was a raised eyebrow, and down-only was being sad. They noticed the movement, and we ended up having a "conversation" via webcam movements and hand signals.  It ended up with a smile and a thumbs up from the mooner!

I agonized over whether it would be appropriate to expose you to such ideas.  What a wonderful story.  Thanks for waxing nostalgic and sharing.

Our peers came on the scene just as mooning was waning in The USA.  Today, with cameras everywhere, one would have to be a lunatic.

OMG you say
A Lunatic? Punatic?
What’s the difference?
