RE: HPP Biz - Obie - 12-06-2015 mermaid53 You and your coven have created a black hole of negativity here.It would be best if you did it in private so the rest of us aren't drawn into it. If you put just a little energy into positive actions you might do some good for your community.Instead of bitching in a public forum about a tree branch hanging out in the road and how you should all sue,why not just grab the loppers and cut the branch off ? RE: HPP Biz - mermaid53 - 12-06-2015 Wow!!! What side of the bed did you get out of? You are doing nothing but bullying and insult those of us who do volunteer their time to improving HPP. Some who post on this thread ARE VOLUNTEERS. I have volunteered for several years now trying to make HPP a better place. Previous boards understood the value of volunteers. This group does not and instead regards them as threats and peons. There's no reason for this behavior. 6 board resignations in one year along w/several committee member resignations speaks volumes. Again, if you have no investment in HPP, why do you keep coming to this thread except to bully? You are contributing to the negativity. I don't remember anyone on this thread threatening to sue anyone about a tree branch in the road. So you're not only bullying, you're making false accusations now. By the way, many of us DO CONTRIBUTE to maintaining our easements. You are clueless Obie. RE: HPP Biz - caveat emptor - 12-06-2015 Mermaid, didn't your mother ever teach you not to talk to strange men in their underwear? It's best not to respond to hypocrites as you would only be drawn into their narcissistic and pathetic little world. Ignore them. RE: HPP Biz - Obie - 12-06-2015 quote: It was you that posted this statement : "The bushes and low lying tree branches aren't being maintained either and are side swapping cars and causing line of sight issues. Another liability for the association. A member spoke of sending a bill to the association for what it's doing to the side of his car. Vans w/racks get hit on top by low lying branches. Ideally the side roads should be mowed 5' minimum and the main drags 10', and cleared vertically to a certain depth for line of sight. There are many places in HPP today w/zero line of sight." Someone else mentioned suing ! RE: HPP Biz - mermaid53 - 12-06-2015 Mermaid, didn't your mother ever teach you not to talk to strange men in their underwear? It's best not to respond to hypocrites as you would only be drawn into their narcissistic and pathetic little world. Ignore them. caveatemptor...Actually this could also be a strange HPP woman in her panties. You are most astute in your assessment and advice. Thank you! RE: HPP Biz - Obie - 12-06-2015 I'm not the moderator but Punaweb is kind of a family place, not the best place to share your sexual fantasies. RE: HPP Biz - kalakoa - 12-07-2015 Instead of bitching in a public forum about a tree branch hanging out in the road and how you should all sue,why not just grab the loppers and cut the branch off ? Funny thing -- I keep a pair of loppers in the truck for just this reason, and you know what? It costs less than $hundreds/year, no drama required. The running of a non profit corp. especially of this magnitude, requires experienced leadership.... board members who understand the necessity of following law Board is constrained by State/Federal code and its own bylaws. Invoke the laws and fix the problems; do not expect sympathy from the peanut gallery. "Rules are for everyone." RE: HPP Biz - mermaid53 - 12-07-2015 Reni: The running of a non profit corp. especially of this magnitude, requires experienced leadership.... board members who understand the necessity of following law Kalakoa: Board is constrained by State/Federal code and its own bylaws. Invoke the laws and fix the problems; do not expect sympathy from the peanut gallery. "Rules are for everyone." Very well stated. That's exactly correct. RE: HPP Biz - kalakoa - 12-07-2015 Very well stated. That's exactly correct. Then why is it so difficult? (Note this "failure to abide" followed by "failure to prosecute/correct" is not limited to HPP, it seems to be the way things are done here...) RE: HPP Biz - shockwave rider - 12-07-2015 I think the lack of realistic mechanisms to compel following the by-laws and even state law is the root problem in all the big subdivisions. When the subdivisions were mostly empty, with very few residences, the issues were ignored. But now that HPP in particular has grown to well over 10,000 people, the reality that running what is essentially a small town with no actual government using a non profit board with limited mandate to govern is simply not feasible is very clear. |
