RE: Roundup vs Crossbow vs ? - unknownjulie - 07-13-2013 Since I have not used "milestone", I cannot compare, but an advantage I did think of while using "crossbow" yesterday, is that because it is not so strong, I am hoping that a small amount spilled on the ground near an Ohia tree will not poinson my Ohia. There could be a certain advantage to using something slightly less toxic in this instance. Using any of these chemicals really stresses me out. There is just no other way to kill off the strawberry guava that is choking out my Ohia. I bet you have the nicest MOnsanto garden In Hawaii. RE: Roundup vs Crossbow vs ? - Guest - 07-15-2013 quote: What do you do with the poisoned, tainted earth now? Look at the dead spot and enjoy it? Don't walk bearfooted there. RE: Roundup vs Crossbow vs ? - kalakoa - 07-16-2013 quote: I don't risk it. Instead, I keep Roundup in the kitchen, so I can apply it directly to my morning cereal -- breakfast of champions! RE: Roundup vs Crossbow vs ? - Bullwinkle - 07-16-2013 roundup works as well as cross bow or remedy for me I use round up - (add red food coloring) and paint it on the fresh cut stump with a 1 or 2 inch "throw away" brush. takes - 2-3 years for the roots to rot out on their own avoid spraying the stuff - kills all the naturals as well - just makes room for the cane grass to come in ......
