Languages of the time could handle a 4-digit year; the problem was that memory was too precious to waste on a "fixed" value that would "always" be "19".

Poi at Target went from $6.99 a tub to $8.99 a tub.
End of our shopping at Target.
Staff says it came from Corporate over in America.
This week hubby will be calling the NEW CEO in Mn of all target stores nation wide to get poi price down to $6.99 a tub.
End of world for puna for us .
Now will buy local at Mtn View propane and their fresh poi.
