Do you see any similarities between Geothermal "PGV" operations and the TMT's project?

None whatsoever.
PGV = Down
TMT = Up

Both are "desecration" with money attached. Completely different than resorts, cruise ships, and oil-fired generators, which have no money and cause no side effects whatsoever.

I don't believe Gypsy69 should be able to comment any longer.

By not taking the buyout he must not have a problem with geothermal.

Hey Gyp, Is your boy playing for Princeton this year or is he a redshirt freshman ?

Maybe he just researched all those "hot deals" on the mainland and found PGV air is waaay better!

I don't know. What do the PGV and TMT projects have in common? And how do they support each other?

They both represent change.... For some, like Mr. Gyp, change that isn't under their control or that directly benefits them, is by definition bad and to be feared...

change that isn't under their control or that directly benefits them

Exactly: gotta pay that "sacredness surcharge" or we'll keep protesting ...

Perhaps I have already made this observation, but it seems to me that if one choses to live on the flanks of one of the world's most-active volcanoes, one would expect to have to deal with an occasional venting of unpleasant gases, roasting hot lava etc., Goes with the turf, so to speak.
