At the moment we have over 400 full time employees and 150 half time workers .

Here are the largest employers on Hawaii Island:
300 – Roberts, Waikoloa Marriott, HELCO
400 – Mauna Lani Resort, N. Hawaii Community Hospital
600 – Fairmont Orchid
800 – KS Hawaii. KTA Super Stores
900 – Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Prince
1,200 – Hualalai Resort
1,300 – Federal government
1,400 – Hilton Waikoloa + Grand Vacations
2,700 – County government
8,000 – State government

That makes Mrs Mimosa the owner of either The Mauna Lani Resort, or The Fairmont Orchid. Those hotels do use a lot of water.

A 1 million gallon tank would be 36 feet tall and 71 feet in diameter.

Quite a hole in the ground in lava.Mrs.mimosa and ohana must have dug the hole with picks and shovels to keep the cost down. Of course they must have a 36 foot tall mountain on their property from the excavation.
Anybody in Hawaiian Acres see this mountain or the giant parking lot for the employees ?

Weather forecast.

Friday Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon.

It's probably an 8 foot high berm surrounding the parking lot, keeping the 400 cars from public view.

Yes agreed HOTPE, the water cistern, the number of employess, the parking lot and all. It sounds absurd, as I said incredulous.

I just cannot figure out why anyone, especially someone who claims to be in their 90s would lie about this. It baffles me so part of me wants to believe the things she posted.

I rather enjoy her posts (or who knows, maybe his posts?) and I like to think of her writing style similar to the exaggerated hyperbole of Mark Twain. That guy could tell some whoppers. As long as you don't plan your outings around her weather forecasts, or design your home, yard, etc based on the medieval three moat landscape layouts of Mrs Mimosa, you can sit back and enjoy the ride. Enjoy a quick spin around her 400 car parking lot?

maybe it was a riddle, or a metaphor. maybe it's a well. maybe the 400 workers are bees.

Yesterday and this evening KGMB weather has forecast that the front will stall and dissipate at the Big Island and bring East Hawaii very little if any rain.

Now, let's play "my weatherman can beat up your weatherman".
