Fascinating thank you for sharing that link to the photo. Isn't it interesting the clouds of earth are white and unorganized mostly (except for hurricanes) and the water vapor in the photo are so symmetrical to a point.

Hi Mella. I'm not sure to which post you refer. Let me know and perhaps I can explain!

This just popped into my inbox, just so you know I'm not a Daily Express reader! Anyway, this has been brought up before on this thread so thought I'd mention it.

The search for planet X (which would be the ninth planet in our solar system) continues using the Subaru Observatory on Mauna Kea. It's based on strong indications that there is a distant large planet affecting the orbits of objects in the Kuiper Belt. However, at the same time, whacky conspiracy theorists are also claiming that "Nibiru" some mythical planet that only gets serious discussion time on shows like Coast to Coast, will be visible from Earth later this month and some claim it will collide with our planet. The trouble is, these claims have been made for years, including devastating events on Earth due to Nibiru, which never came true. This is just the latest nonsense from those people, so don't worry if you see this in the news or on the web, Nibiru doesn't exist.

I didn't realize the Daily Express could get any worse!
That Niburu nonsense has been going on for years. Who is pushing it now, a new breed or people who just keep adjusting their calendars?

A combination of both.

PS. More info here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nibiru_cataclysm

"Before his retirement after 2012, David Morrison, director of the SETI Institute, CSI Fellow and Senior Scientist at NASA's Astrobiology Institute at Ames Research Center, said he received 20 to 25 emails a week about the impending arrival of Nibiru: some frightened, others angry and naming him as part of the conspiracy to keep the truth of the impending apocalypse from the public, and still others asking whether or not they should kill themselves, their children or their pets."

Note that this refers to the previous cataclysm that Nibiru was supposed to cause, not the one later this month.

Cassini probe to make its final observations this Friday.

This Friday (Sep 15th) the Cassini probe will make a final descent into the outer-atmosphere of Saturn where it will be destroyed, but not before making some final measurements of Saturn. Cassini's hugely successful 20-year mission will come to an end; its measurements having been supported by observations from two MK observatories: the IRTF and Keck.

PS. Tomorrow at 9 pm HST (Wednesday 13th Sep) PBS Hawaii will broadcast the new Nova episode "Death Dive to Saturn" which will be about the Cassini mission.

TomK - Was there a full EIS done for this destruction into sacred land?

RE: Discoveries by the telescopes on Mauna Kea - TomK - 09-12-2017

Leilanidude, I know you're joking, but NASA is actually crashing the probe into Saturn for environmental reasons! They don't want it drifting around in Saturn's system where it could potentially collide with one of its moons and contaminate the surface. Although the possibility is remote, both Titan and Enceladus could have some form of life on them (or more likely, in them). Crashing it into Saturn means it will completely vaporize.
