argh! sorry carol!!! can/will your husband eat egg whites or substitute? ihop offers that alternative. while not romantic for valentine's day, it's not bad for breakfast fare.

carol: stopped by soontaree's on lanikaula st. and kilauea. they are open and looked busy. picked up a menu but it's definitely a deli type operation and not a place to dine for valentine's if you're looking for upscale. most of the items are thai/asian influenced but they do offer falafel (vegan), nachos (vegan if you omit the dairy), saimin and different appetizers such as bbq tofu salad and the same but wrapped. the green papaya salad sounds yummy!
