Hmmmmmmm, wonder what the cop was hiding on his property that he didn't want anybody to see??? Seems typical of the "chip on the shoulder" attitude I've found that most of the cops on this island seem to have. ESPECIALLY if you're not "local".
easier to just stay home and have another glass of Merlot!

According to the article the census worker is considering filing a civil suit against the county.

Just an fyi. The census worker involved in this mess is one of my ex-coworkers. We worked together at a residential treatment facility for troubled youth...
Lets just say the guy didnt make it there. He was a "different" type of person. I wouldnt call him weird but definitely marching to the beat of his own tune...
After reading about this mess and knowing him personally, I am NOT surprised he was involved. I hope everything works out but as most everyone knows, we live in America - LAND OF LITIGATION...[B)][B)][B)]

We are told time and time again that the census info will be used to appropriate funds into needy neighborhoods and communities (unlike how they used it in the 40's to round up Japanese "Americans"). However, we did fill out our census this year and it seems that the Feds are more interested in what Race/ethnicity I am, especially if I'm hispanic, than how much money I make or what my quality of life is?
Just what questions on the 2010 census could possibly be used to meet community needs. It seems more likely that the questions in this census are geared for the greatly anticipated "immigration reform" aimed primarily at people of hispanic/latino origin.
