Perhaps it's a reason to send another post without seeing responses, hence the serenity, but what's the point?

HiloJulie has no point other than purposefully trying to disrupt.

A recent Bill Maher quote that fits. “And I like everyone, but I don’t know if they’re really at this moment the best advertisement for women,”

Wow.  I'm tempted to look into the context of this quote by finding a video of Maher saying this.  At face value I'm surprised he would say something like that because it sounds foolish and sexist.

Can you imagine anyone saying "..I don't know if they're really at this moment the best advertisement for men"?   Of course not.

Someone on Reddit had this reply:    "Oh, thank God! Finally! A man to tell us what’s best for women. I thought this could never happen."

"I'm tempted to look into the context of this quote by finding a video of Maher saying this."

I suggest you do look it up, but I will confirm he said it. It was on Maher's Podcast show he does and was in a discussion with Drew Barrymore. The comment was made while Maher and Barrymore were discussing the TV Show "The View" and it was about Maher's feelings about the hosts and some of their views being expressed.

The comment Maher made was about his opinion about some of the views that had been expressed specifically by both Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Behar. In the context given and the comments made by both Goldberg and Behar, which I won't post here - so yes, please look it up, but in that context of the Maher comment, I, as a woman, do have to somewhat agree with Maher.

I'd also point out that the TV Show "The View" is the one constantly under fire from the current administration and often times being called for it being censored and even cancelled, with some going so far as to post memes on various other social media platforms claiming that it indeed has been cancelled or the hosts "fired."

At any event, I do believe little 'e thinks he is making a point, of which he clearly falls flat with, but I wonder if little 'e is trying to make that point as a male or as a female, as little 'e's prior posts have indicated being somewhat "fluid" on that topic.

Since this has been quite frequent of a sight on various threads you have posted on, I don't think telling other people to shut up is in your wheelhouse:

Seriously.. wtf does anything about ME have to do with you?

Not only did USPS deliver the package to the wrong address (a mile away), but could never retrieve the box from the wrong recipient. They (USPS) knocked on the erroneous recipient's door and was told to go away, not just once but twice. "Possession is 9-10th da law on da Big Island."

Wife is more persistent than me or HiloJulie. After months of waiting, wife received a refund for the value of the package as well as the postage costs. The provisional hire probably told the USPS examiner, "Why the street names on the Big Island all sound the same?"

I must say you are quite the cornucopia of conflicting arguments.

You took little 'e's compliment of the USPS, including his refund and "topped" it with your complaint of your package being lost.

At least you did get the $100.00 plus postage costs refunded, as is the way it works when a package is lost/misdelivered, but I do admit the "provisional" hire slam was a good one, but it does make one wonder why the USPS won't hire enough full time LOCAL workers who know the street names like the back of their hand.

As for the guy who did get your package, maybe he felt it was none of their business. Maybe he felt the USPS was being invasive of his privacy. Or maybe he felt it was a scam.
