This board has torn apart this neighborhood for their own agenda. It has nothing to do with what is best for everyone.
County does the same thing with Puna, and I'm left to assume people prefer it that way, because I don't see anything being done about it.
That said, I also don't see other subdivisions with their own comment threads about mismanagement. Clearly, only HPP is suffering with these issues.

Guess you missed all the HA threads a few months ago.
HPP has more lots and better internet than a lot of other subdivisions, so it may not be a reflection on the subdivision as much as participation on Punaweb. It is important to remember that Punaweb is not an accurate reflection of any community as a whole, any more than letters to the editor are a reflection of the Big Island. Punaweb gets people who have time, access to the technoogy and the bandwidth to post. That is not Puna as a whole, or even HPP as a whole.

Katarina, some of your comments about what is currently going on is accurate and I agree to some of it. But you have failed to factor in that some of what you want disclosed to the membership can't be bc we're in the middle of a lawsuit. The board can't talk about certain things regarding the terminations and the lawsuit. Hello. How is it that you know what's been discovered or not discovered by the board in regards to the lawsuit when other members don't know?
K, your other information is about 6-7 mos old, so I wouldn't comment about anything prior. Anything prior, is coming from someone else's mouth. A TE or the former Pres and company? You weren't present at all those meetings where lot owners were irate over the condition of their roads, overspending with attorney consultations at meetings, or about bylaws being broken. That should be in the minutes and if they aren't, why not?
This is why I say it's the same thing over again w/some of this bunch, and we have to find another solution.
I know there are TE's and their supporters here on a fishing expedition so I have no further comments.

But you did leave out that the Association has been run for 6 months without a GM, this was their plan. Even Mermaid admitted that there is no logical reason for not having a GM in place by Sept 2014. Now it's going to 9 months to a year to hire the GM. Kinda sounds to me like it was planned the whole time.

Well, January has come to and end and we still have not seen the Annual Update or the Presidents Report
These documents are a review of the year and what ever the President might like to inform us on what they have planned for the near future.
Without these documents we don't know if the finance's are correct despite the Treasurer performing the accounting and approving it, even if all is good, what an appearance of impropriety.
All they would have to do for right now is post on the website that they screwed up and that the documents would be mailed out shortly.
After six months there is still no transparency.
