RE: Ninole Progress - David M - 10-28-2006 Crizzy Sure thing. See my post of 10/20 to Trolleys for a general idea of things going on. Email me as time nears and we can arrrange via phone - directions etc. Enjoy your trip. David Thanks Carrie Ninole Resident RE: Ninole Progress - David M - 11-09-2006 Just to share the GREAT news - Passed the plumbing rough-in inspection today. Also, the electrician was on site actually puling wire A very good day David Ninole Resident RE: Ninole Progress - Carey - 11-09-2006 David, did you guys go with conduit (pulling wire), or did you go with romax. Asking 'cause we are still looking for an electrician who will do conduit willingly (could only got 1 to look at our place & he has yet to have time to do it (6 mos). ere told by a couple that they don't want to spend the time on conduit. Aloha, Carey RE: Ninole Progress - David M - 11-10-2006 Carey Answer - Both All the in-slab work is conduit and then the interior walls are a combination. Not sure if this has something to do with using metal studs or different types of circuits. Some of the romex is also pulled via conduit as well as some stranded runs. My guess is electricians are BUSY. I know these guys are. I'll be very fortunate if they have completed my rough-in by end of the month. I am very lucky that I can also do some of the grunt work to help speed them along. Are you looking to run conduit in open walls or in existing "closed" walls? Have you talked with Jerry Gardner? After my guys have passed rough-in inspection, I'll be happy to given you info to contact them. David Ninole Resident RE: Ninole Progress - Carey - 11-11-2006 David, all of our walls are open, and we also have metal framing on slab (our framing is aluminumin, and the '70's SIP panels had stubbed conduit that had romax pulled). Aloha, Carey RE: Ninole Progress - David M - 11-14-2006 Not "progress" in the normal sense, but yesterday was one of those extraordinary days. We chartered Tropical Helicopters for a photo flyover of our property. This was my anniversatry present to Sophie and hers to me. Definitely NOT an expense I would normally do, but I know some of you will understand. A clearer, brighter day would have been better, but this is Hawaii LOL Pics: http://community.webshots.com/album/468915553RbjdnV?start=324 David Ninole Resident Edited by - David M on 11/14/2006 20:41:57 RE: Ninole Progress - mella l - 11-14-2006 Wow David and Sophie, What progress and the photos super, what a thoughtful and historic gift! Emailed you personally from this web site about visiting your project when we are in town Nov 23 - Dec 5th 2006. I have not heard from you. I know you are very busy. Is a visit still feasible? If so, what is the best way to contact you? Mahalo RE: Ninole Progress - Tolleys - 11-20-2006 David - Just got your email. I look forward to seeing your house project! Aloha |
