The humps are in front of the terminal/car rental area. The bumps are on the access road on the way to the terminal, just before the large curve to the left.

I was there within the last 5 days and I mean the new humps on the road on the opposite side of the parking area (seen from the terminal).

They're all short, sharp bumps that you would not want to drive on at 10-15 like every hump I've encountered. They're before and area that was already a ridiculously low 25, which nobody ever drove at. Now it's 15 the whole way. It should be at least 35 until just before the terminals, where 15 and speed bumps are appropriate. When traffic planners get it horribly wrong everyone just ignores the limits. That's why most people still go 55-60 from Shower to the Humane Society, as they should. The new 45 from Ainaloa to Pahoa is also appropriately ignored by most people. There are very few driveways on that portion, no major intersections, and huge shoulders everywhere. It should be 70-80, not 45.

It's at this point in the conversation we miss the discerning perspective of gypsy. He would wisely point out that 70 to 80 mph is far too fast for the Keaau to Pahoa corridor. Red Road, he would say, is where you go for those speeds. Even better at night.

Many people choose to exceed speed limits in general, regardless of whether they "make sense" or not. Raise the speed limit and folks will adjust their speeding up 5 mph or so above that too.
30 mph over posted speed limit can garner you a reckless driving ticket. 1000 bucks and suspended license-ouch!

If you obey the posted speed limit of 15 mph you don't even have to slow down.I followed someone in a lifted truck who slowed almost to a stop for each bump and then raced to the next one.I maintained 15 and caught him at each hump.In front of the terminal I passed him and aced him out of the last spot at the curb.He got waved around for another pass.
