The best interest of the association is maintenance and improvements of roads along with community harmony mermaid has not ever promoted any of these . What is the GM doing regarding the road dues? Ummmm maybe his job! Anyone who is having financial issues may want to call and talk to the office I am not affiliated therefore can’t answer that
But obviously he is looking out for the best interest of the end and the members as he has closed the office to incoming persons.

KP From what I understand you are only willing to have civil conversation with those that agree with mermaid and co I know of a few that offered to share their knowledge and proof of some serious issues to do with serious issues that had transpired by mermaid and co with you but you were closed minded and arrogant to them from my understanding . If this is not so then I must just be perceiving it that way .

I’m not sure whether I’ve walked into the Twilight Zone, America’s Funniest Home Videos or Kids Say the Darndest Things. But, I do know in order for you to insult me, I have to value your opinion. Nice try though.
I’ve tried to carry on a conversation with you but you can’t stop belittling people and calling names. That’s not how I operate. Yes, I get angry just like you but we handle our emotions differently. You have so much hate in your heart that you can’t even see it or the truth anymore.
One more thing...you getting personal is a two-way street. Think about it.

All of this started with a suggestion that HPPOA needs to delay the road fee deadline given the current situation. I completely agree but it has led to endless bitching.
So can someone actually provide a simple and concise answer without complicating things? Will the road fee deadline be extended or not?

You do not know me but I will let you feel you do if that’s what floats your boat. Sounds like maybe you’re getting a little more well rounded now watching more television gaining more intellectual stimulation now that stay home is in effect.
I haven’t even attempted insulting you, your business, or your partners etc should I assume this an invite ? Honestly I don’t care what you think of me you do not know ME. I am seeing more and more anger from you and others why? Because I want the truth exposed?

my apologies for your irritation caused on my part .
the dues aren’t probable to be changed in my opinion but the best bet is to work with the corporate office they have assisted me with payments for years I always have to pay but they work with me when needed.

With that said, director D7 and I are still working on the deferment. We have given options to D1 director to accomplish this task. Unfortunately his lawsuit is getting in the way which is one of the reasons we have a conflict of interest policy that doesn't allow anyone to sit on the board or committees while suing the Association. This is a perfect example of why that policy exists. A lawsuit shouldn't get in the way during a pandemic. The GM supports the lawsuit. D7 and I have always been willing to work with D1 since the mass resignations occurred in Jun 2019 and D1/plaintiff has avoided us at all costs which is inclusive of sitting with us at a board meeting, hence his cancelling all meetings including membership meetings. I will get back to you as soon as able and hopefully the lawsuit won't continue to get in the way of action that needs to take place NOW.

Mahalo for the succinct answer. Now I understand what’s going on. I find it shameful that someone who shouldn’t even be on the BOD right now because of a conflict of interest, is unwilling to put personal feelings aside to the betterment of the association while a worldwide crisis is occurring. Anyone supporting this kind of behavior is just as guilty.
