OK, might be a bit of a stretch, but if you've never had a garage, then getting 5 garage doors installed seems like great progress Smile especially if the electricians also show up the same day. Smile Smile

These are Martin doors from HD. Openers will be installed tomorrow.

So how do you know which garage door opener to use to open which door? Will you put matching numbers on them or color code them do you think? Let's see, you go to the car dealer and select a car because it has a glovebox big enough for all the garage door openers....

Heheheh! (Sorry! I couldn't resist!)

Cute Cathy

Actually, I'm not that talented Smile

Each opener has 2 , almost tiny, remotes with 4 buttons, so we programmed them so relative positions sorta match, ie, leftside = leftside, front = front, etc.
My workshop door is strictly manual.

Was kinda weird seeing 4 doors going up and down hehehe.

David, quit playing and get back to work!

Looking good though, I've still got to get our garage door for later.

Hey David, who did you go through to set up your solar electric system? I wanna stay off grid too. I know it is gonna be a big investment up front. My house will be much smaller than yours, only 1250 sq ft.plus lanai.

RE: Ninole Progress - David M - 01-10-2007

Crizzy - Solarman, he advertises in the Hilo paper.

Today was a visually rewarding day - 2 Ohia posts installed in Livingroom/kitchen.

David,

Thank you for sharing these wonderful pics with us. It is visually rewarding for us also, and I'm sure spiritually invigorating for you and Sophie.

The posts are beautiful, the progress impressive and the view unbelievable! Good for you.

Thanks all

We are making progress. Passed both plumbing and electrical rough-in inspections. Ought to be ready to call for framing inspection early next week. Ordered the fireplace, all appliances have been delivered, bank account dwindling...

But life is terrific Smile
