RE: Threat to Pahoa?! - dakine - 09-12-2007 the web can this morning is beautiful! and.. may be showing for the first time part of the open channel crusted over. i.e., the beginnings of a tube system? RE: Threat to Pahoa?! - Jeffhale - 09-14-2007 Going south anybody? Wow last nights lava glow was one of the brightest I've seen.. Keep chanting because the flow defiantly made a southern improvement in the last 24hrs. If you had seen the Lava last night you could have seen the southern flow, glowing, burning, defiantly against the trend. RE: Threat to Pahoa?! - Tahunatics - 09-14-2007 Chanting Hema, Hema, Hema, Hema, Hema, Hema, Hema, Hema (South in Hawaiian) RE: Threat to Pahoa?! - Kelena - 09-15-2007 Don't look now, but the channel is getting a leeeeetle crusty. HVO reports it has crusted over in three sections. Smattering of pahoehoe here and there. Nothing to see here. Move along. Governor LINGLE was briefed today! From KHNL: <<Big Island authorities keeping watch over potentially dangerous lava activity on Kilauea have briefed the governor and now plan to talk to members of the community.>> I wonder what they will have to say.....
