Here's some actual information on Yellowstone:

Since of course Yellowstone expansion is related to the polar shift which affects the Japan current to Alaska, which in turn controls rainfall in Hawai'i, this is on topic for this thread, right?

10 inches since 2004, just a little shy of 800 feet.

Me ka ha`aha`a,
Mike

More heavy rain on the way. I'm not getting the El Nino prediction for a dry winter. At least not here.

..FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE BIG ISLAND AND MAUI COUNTY FROM
THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* The Big Island, Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Kahoolawe.

* From 6 PM HST this evening through 6 PM HST Tuesday.

* A band of deep moisture will move over the eastern half of the
state and stall through Tuesday. Convective showers within this
band will likely trigger heavy rainfall and thunderstorms over
the Big Island and Maui County. This band is expected to move
eastward Tuesday night and Wednesday, though this Flash Flood
Watch may need to be extended if heavy rains linger.

Yes Macuu222 this storm looks different than the other ones this year that would come down from the north and affect the other islands first and hardly do anything on our southeast side.

The east side of the big island and Maui are supposed to be the first to get hit with this one.
