RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 03-19-2019 Eventually they invoked ancient Hawaiian human sacrifice in hopes to achieve victory over those that would oppose them. I think you left something out. Will it be broadcast on K-5 The Home Team? RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - PaulW - 03-19-2019 I don't know, are you also threatening to shoot anyone who dares question your right to poison others? RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - Wao nahele kane - 03-19-2019 PaulW, I certainly miss your disjointed convolute and cognitive dissonance based rhetoric. You're definitely a curiosity. RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - Wao nahele kane - 03-19-2019 HOTPE, Don't know the answer to your question but, "The priest would be anointed with sweat collected from the sacrifice." Sounds a great deal like the origins of socialism and the Justice Democrats to me. RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - PaulW - 03-19-2019 Jungle Man, you seem to be reasonably intelligent and yet you persist in indulging in suicidal behavior. I think it’s a shame but I respect your right. I would like to know why though, if you could be so kind. It may be applicable to other people and similar behavior (as per this thread). RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - MarkD - 03-19-2019 Let me guess, MarkD is a smoker? Nope. I believe in personal freedom. Isn't it interesting that both the Nazis and the Chinese communists were able to achieve some of their most extremist policies with youth brigades. No mind accepts propaganda as willingly as a young one. Paul and glinda, have you picked a site for your re-education camp? RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 03-19-2019 Sounds a great deal like the origins of socialism Like these socialist institutions or persons in Puna and East Hawaii? * People who collect Social Security * People who receive medical treatment through Medicare * The fire department * The police department * Hawaii Volcanoes National Park * Hilo International Airport * etc, etc, etc It’s simply because the old socialism has become an acceptable part of everyday life, even for people who claim they are against socialism, that opinion shows on TV have to trot out new, younger boogeyman (and boogeywomen) to whip up emotional fear. Good news though, since the climate rally in Honolulu last week this article was published: America Cares About Climate Change Again This widespread public concern about climate change is already being reflected in policy made at the state level. New Mexico will soon become the third state to set a goal for 100 percent carbon-free electricity. California, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia have adopted similar goals... And their ranks could soon expand. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2019/03/suddenly-climate-change-advocates-are-march/585196/ ETA more scary socialist systems in Puna: * Roads (drive anywhere today?) * Schools * Pahoa swimming pool * Pohoiki Park RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - Wao nahele kane - 03-19-2019 HOPTE, You've confused civil services with socialism. Not surpising though, you evidently don't know what socialism is. Please look up the definition and try again. RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - Old Croc - 03-19-2019 Socialism is communism for slow learners. RE: Youth Climate Strike Hawaii - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 03-19-2019 you evidently don't know what socialism is. Apparently Ronald Reagan doesn’t either. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Bejdhs3jGyw Many of the socialist institutions and public programs in Puna began as “Socialist attacks on America!” then after they were passed into law and accepted into society they became “civil services.” There was quite a battle over schools when Big Government wanted to take over the education of our youth from the churches. Let’s face it, we’re surrounded by forms of socialism everywhere we go in East Hawaii. Today, right now. It’s not going to suddenly show up on your doorstep in the form of a young, newly elected congresswoman portrayed on an opinion channel as a boogeywoman so they can sell more survivalist food in vacuum packed cans, and bars of gold. Socialism is already on your doorstep, and has been for as long as you’ve lived in your house. Look closely, it’s probably in your house, under a name you find more pleasant and acceptable to your belief system. All the kids want is a habitable Earth in their future. They’re not asking for the Moon. Or Mars. |
