Contractor suggestions? How to choose! - mella l - 08-20-2005
How would you go about choosing a residential contractor for a modest home? What have your experiences been? Anyone you would suggest? What should we be cautious of and what should we be asking when we visit with a few.
We have a small but lovely piece of land at the 1800 foot elevation on the east side and would like a respectable small home put on it, something that the neighborhood would be happy with. It is relatively level if there is such a thing on the side of a mountain and it has lovely growth on it that I would wish to disturb as little as possible.

a few of my clients are general contractors, one happens to have built 3 homes in eden roc and is currently building a fourth. i'm not sure if he would want to do yours, but if you are interested i can give you his number.
