Hawaiian Airlines new Kahalui , Maui hub - macuu222 - 03-06-2012
Now Hilo has 2 non-stop flights to Maui. One in the morning and one in the evening. And the special $69.00 one way fare including tax is a bargain!!

What is even more impressive is they also have a non-stop flight back! I used to dread going through Oahu to get back to Hilo!

Now you can fly either way and return on the same day !!

Yeah, this is definitely going to help me. Having a return flight in the evening saves me that Sunday night hotel bill.

Great addition - saves a layover on the afternoon HA mainland to ito flights....
Hilo becoming more and more of a hub - interesting to see folks on the way to hnl and ogg passing thru ito from lax these days.... more on the way imho...... HA protecting their routes form competition is the motivator me thinks.....
