Gosh Carey, I just can't get my "sticks" to sprout. Bullwinkle, did you get your seeds locally? I want to try that next. I do have some maile started, just to try something different.

sprouts - poking through as we speak - will keep you in mind if they "hatch" have 30-40 in the dirt

two of them - vernal and autumnal ... official dates are march and sept 20 when the sun crosses the equator (equinox = kida sorta equal day and night world wide over the course of a few days)
The Sphinx in Egypt points at the spot where the sun rises on the Equinox
