Whats going on with the choppers and EMTS" at the cliff??

Two tourists saved by a helicopter !!

The park made a nice landing site !!

Where exactly is this Orr's beach? I've never heard of it.

It's north of four corners on old gov. rd.
Used to be called Kahuwai Beach I believe.
Not a "safe" swimming area.

It is in John Clark's wonderful book "beaches of Hawaii County.". He gives some interesting history and certainly doesn't recommend swimming.

I tried to find Orr's beach a year ago. Got close enough to see that like most older black sand beaches, it no longer had any sand.
