Does anyone know of a good contact name or number for a local Puna-area
food pantry? I have a couple bags of non-perishable groceries to drop off somewhere, but can't find a donation location. I've left phone messages at a few churches but never got a call back. Any ideas, please

My husband (terracore on the punaweb) does the Feds Feeding Families program. He can pick up any donations. I will also send you an email.

Carey, thanks anyway, but I had already left messages last month at the phone numbers listed for Hilo Food Basket and for some of the churches but never got a call back (my cell phone service here is not always reliable.)
