Here's a thread on Boogie Woogie. Mostly bad reviews, but glad your experience was nice.

I have eaten there about four times and its been delicious, take out was quick, (meaning I did not have to wait more than 20min. after i called in) Sorry others have had not so good service.

Boogie Woogie could use some good press for sure, especially with a new competitor just a few doors away.

With that thought, just tried Mike's New York Pizza again. While waiting for my pie it occurred to me that Mike (I assume he's the guy making the pizza) isn't the friendliest guy in the world--or maybe it was just me! Over a period of several minutes standing at the counter, Mike didn't say a word to me--no eye contact, no signature New York sarcasm to keep me entertained--nothing! But to her credit, the young lady who rang me up was a sweetheart. Gotta admit Mike's pizza was pretty good, certainly tastier that Boogie Woogie. So the philosophical question is: Is it better to eat a tasty pizza prepared by an unfriendly person, or eat a mediocre pizza prepared by a friendly person?

My stomach always wins out, so gotta go with the former--service with a frown it is!

When I first saw this I thought " is there another Boogie Woogie pizza place I don't know about?".
