Medicare doctors - Rhodes - 08-22-2012
Just got back home to Puna, awwww the world is good. Need help finding a doc who takes Medicare. Anyone got any referrals , names of physicians? I have tried several but they said they do not bill this insurance. Help!

We were able to get Dr. Paul Kaiwi, Jr. (446-0177) to accept us as patients. We are also Medicare. When I called them the first time, they asked who we are insured with & I just told them the name of our supplemental insurance, & they had no problem with that.
Dr. Kaiwi is in the process of moving over from Maui, so he's not at his Hilo office everyday. It's my understanding that as he gets more patients here on B.I., he will add more days here.
His specialty is lower back & pain management. So far, both my husband & I are very pleased with him.
