Nonwoven Polypropylene - Guest - 10-11-2012 Hello Members, Nonwoven polypropylene is a new kind of fabric. It is not woven, but consists of a mesh of plastic fibers that form a strong, reusable material. Items made from nonwoven polypropylene can be used many times and the material itself is recyclable at certain facilities. Features Nonwoven polypropylene has become very widely used in recent years. It is cheap, durable, extremely lightweight and can be machine-washed. Nonwoven polypropylene holds dyes very well and can be produced in virtually any color. Uses Nonwoven polypropylene is used to make promotional tote bags. It also has medical applications. As it is soft and lightweight while capable of providing a barrier to infectious material, it is used for items such as surgical masks and gowns. A specialized form of nonwoven polypropylene mesh has been developed for use in hernia repair. Considerations Nonwoven polypropylene is often touted as a "green" fabric, based on the fact that it is reusable, can be recycled and can itself be made from recycled materials. It should be noted, however, that not all recycling facilities accept polypropylene and that not all nonwoven polypropylene is made from recycled materials. Thanks and Regards William Henry RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - HawaiiTedd - 10-12-2012 I think our beloved moderator should ban this William Henry bot. What does this post have to do about Hawaii anyway... --- RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - Rob Tucker - 10-12-2012 Got to admit that is one strange post.... Assume the best and ask questions. Punaweb moderator RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - PaulW - 10-12-2012 Rob, it's a bot. Can the spam! RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - mailes - 10-12-2012 My daughter came to visit this year, finally! She filled some 'nonwoven polypropylene' bags (walmart ones) with sand from the canoe club area in hilo. She hot glued the seams and covered them with her special mixture of stucco. She shaped them using spoons, forks and knives into turtles, geckos and bird (at least I think it's a bird) and a bench. RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - Rob Tucker - 10-12-2012 PaualW, I'm going to allow a little latitude. Whoever William Henry is or isn't is not causing any measurable harm. Assume the best and ask questions. Punaweb moderator RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - PaulW - 10-12-2012 Sure, why not. It will be interesting to see how this continues. A google of these quotes together is enlightening, I wonder how they pick the names: "Greetings to all members of this forum. My name is" "want to take part" RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - Rob Tucker - 10-12-2012 The posts almost remind me of potential dialogue from The Big Bang Theory. It all almost makes sense. What is the sell? Increased worldwide awareness of Nonwoven Polypropylene? The IP is in India. Maybe we should make "William Henry" a code word here... RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - Obie - 10-12-2012 He gets around. http://able2know.org/topic/199528-1 RE: Nonwoven Polypropylene - ericlp - 10-13-2012 Haha... Yeah... How does this relate to puna? Anyway most of the posts are deleted from a google search.. More likely a test bot... Just to get the party started. Spam comes later. |
