I'm guess rob took it down as "not specific to Puna" thing. Liskir always rubs against that boundary.
In regards to politics / religion it's really about a group of people deciding that their lifestyle is the correct one and needs to be dictated to the masses. The progressives and conservatives do this equally in this country and are willing to give away other people's money to support that action.

But we were sign waving.... and Ron Paul did win the Caucus on the Big Island, especially in Puna where Ron Paul was double the nearest runner up. The entire thread was Puna related until PaulW the Uranium lover started trolling it.
