Tilapia anyone? - idiglava - 12-07-2012 I am breaking down my hydrophonic system, anyone looking for Tilapias? I've got whites, blacks & reds. Pls PM Joy RE: Tilapia anyone? - Correy Smith - 01-02-2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrophonic RE: Tilapia anyone? - pahoated - 01-03-2013 Your link is to some musical band. Think you meant hydroponic but this is actually referring to aquaponics. Tilapia are common for maximizing the closed cycle by also having fish to eat as another byproduct. Other fish can be used if eating them is not important, such as using the excess population as fertilizer for agriculture outside of the aquaponic ecosphere.
