Propane Stove Parts - dwedeking - 02-01-2013 Is there a local source for parts for a small propane stove (it's a kitchen stove but more the size of what you would put in an RV)? I have one that needs some brackets for the burners and to replace a couple burners. It was manufactured by Brown if that helps at all. I tried Pahoa Propane. RE: Propane Stove Parts - kalakoa - 02-01-2013 I fixed my stove with replacement parts from EBay -- a genuine part (in factory-sealed package) for less than half the cost. RE: Propane Stove Parts - dwedeking - 02-01-2013 yea, that was the next step. I like to buy local (I give up to 10% more to the local guy vs buying online or at a major corporation ie walmart) though so was going there first. RE: Propane Stove Parts - rainyjim - 02-01-2013 Hilo Propane 170 Makaala St, Hilo, HI (808)9610089 Friday hours 8:00 am–6:00 pm Never underestimate the power of the dark side. RE: Propane Stove Parts - kalakoa - 02-01-2013 I prefer to buy local, but I usually can't afford it. For example: local shop wanted $200 for the part + $40 to ship from Oahu, EBay seller was $80 (with free shipping). I expect "island price" to be higher, but I draw the line around 150%. RE: Propane Stove Parts - dwedeking - 02-01-2013 Thanks Jim Yea, I give 10% variance then I gotta go with cheaper cause I'm on a budget RE: Propane Stove Parts - terracore - 02-03-2013 the propane/battery place in Pahoa has a bunch of parts in stock RE: Propane Stove Parts - Bullwinkle - 02-07-2013 http://www.mainegasrefrigerator.com/ have used these folks for years - good source for hard to get parts and good repair advice.... |
