K.N.O.W. is hosting a series of Street Bazaars. Our second one will be held at the Maikoiko Street Park, on Saturday, February 9th from 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Anyone interested is invited to set up and sell their wares. There are 10 covered spots to reserve on a first come first served basis and a gigantic field for vendor set-up. To reserve a covered spot email the Kawakawa Block Captain at know.kawakawa@gmail.com Our desire is that each vendor will donate a portion of their proceeds to our neighborhood watch program. All proceeds will be used to promote this program in the communities that are served by Kahakai Boulevard. The first priority is to purchase road signs and host community events that promote the Watch throughout the entire Kahakai community. You may wish to set up a table of goods or simply participate as a cash donor. We will gladly accept your donation of books or plants to further tempt buyers and support this cause which benefits us all. Please let the Block Captain know of your interest as soon as possible. edit: Bazaar RE: Street Bazaar - Lokahi - 02-08-2013 We of course welcome everyone and anyone to not only come and "shop" but also to provide an opportunity for everyone and anyone to "sell" their wares. Directions to the event: From Highway 130 turn down Kahakai Blvd and go approximately 4 miles, turn right onto Maikoiko Street and go to the end of the street to the park. The subdivision the park is located in is Hawaiian Shores Recreational Estates and the park is part of Hawaiian Shores Community Association (HSCA). Kahakai Neighborhood Organized Watch (K.N.O.W.) is not affiliated with any subdivision or homeowner's association. Our mission: Work closely with local police to create an active and well known Neighborhood Watch Organization that encompasses all communities served by Kahakai Boulevard from Highway 130 to the ocean. K.N.O.W. has a Facebook Group page (search K.N.O.W.) and we also have a website - http://www.hawaiianshorescommunity.com/home.html providing further information about the community neighborhood watch. |
