Nite Kite Flying - Kahunascott - 06-02-2007
Thursday night was another great kite flying gathering. The night sky was beautiful with a large blue moon. Only thing missing were the kids. But I saw a few adults revert back to their “Yout”.
Vince lead the charge and we had over a half a dozen up in the sky. For those of you who haven’t participated, Vince fly’s a 7-meter kite. (The size of two cars side by side) Chips, sodas and great talk story were on the agenda. I urge you to at least stop by and check it out. Fred Blas and his wife Betty stopped by and had a blast. Fred is the President of the Hawaiian Beaches Action Committee and is going to spread the word to even more possible flyers.

The majic of colorful kites and the Full-Moon and the thrill of harnessing the wind, made beautiful sky. Also talking story with friends was awsome. Yes, it would have been nice to have more kids, but the kid in all of us had a blast. Some how we lost Fred to the kid with silver hair enjoying his kite dancing and swaying in the moonlit sky. The kid with the silver hair said he'll be back again. Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the Full-Moon Kite Fly
