Yes, and I pray he is found safe with a similar story of rescue as the man who was lost 5 days on Kilauea in 2005.

That guy in 2005 also started off from the end of the highway where the county lava viewing area is. The lava field is only six miles wide, there's the mountain on one side and the ocean on the other, and there are roads near the ocean on both sides. How on earth can you manage to spend five days lost out there unless you break your leg???

unlocked doors make me think the car was planted there... not many Japanese tourists would leave their rental car unlocked ....

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha
