Tony good idea, not much to do about the Volcano except understand it's impact on the environment and extrapolate it into areas where we can have an impact.

Read an article in the travel section of the Sunday paper re Dubai, "a monument to retched excess", to quote Gene. After reading this article I promptly pared down my house plans to 1000 sq ft, and it felt so liberating!

On the international Gnome front, here is an article that I hope Bud can avoid, hate to see him get drilled!

Darn link won't work when copying and pasting, so I googled Gnome Sydney Australia news, talk about snakes and planes.
