If you know her work, you'll know that this is a great concoction of fairy tales filtered through pidgin English. It's funny and well-written in our estimation, and will speak to you especially if you grew up in the Islands. The performances are "community theater" in nature, with a few naturals, but for us, the writing raises the experience above the acting. A worthwhile taste of Hawai'i.
