Lower Kaloli AM car cruising - rainshadow - 05-04-2013

Recently there's been a car, no headlights on, slowly cruising the dead ends of streets in lower HPP, off the Kaloli side. Most recently wednesay and friday mornings around 4-5am. Wanted to make everyone aware of this.

If you're up, snap a big fat photo of the car/driver, using a flash. Send a couple messages at once. Smile

Not the paper delivery guy?

RE: Lower Kaloli AM car cruising - rainshadow - 05-04-2013

No. That guy's obvious. And he uses headlights. And at the end of our street no one has a subscription. I see him one street over pretty regularly in the morning.

maybe he is looking for roosters. I have a few he can have!

rainshadow - any more details other than what you posted? I.e., description of the vehicle or which particular streets are being visited? Yes, I live very close to the dead end of a street in the area you mention, but am rarely awake at 4-5am, not when I'm at home that is. Thanks for the heads-up.

I live on 8th. Car was heard this past Wed and Fri around 4:30. Obviously it was dark so couldn't see the car. Drove by very slow. Didn't think much of it until it happened the second time on Fri. Couldn't see car due to vegetation at front of my property.

Maybe let neighborhood watch know? They "seem" to be on it, perhaps they could send an early bird out and get some information.

A totally-crazed drugged-up 30-some-year-old ex-con zoomed up a driveway on 1st in HPP Saturday night, smashed windows, terrorizing the family members who were huddled in the home, stole some items, zoomed away (...and proceeded to get himself arrested a short time later elsewhere in the park ...much to the surprise and pleasure of both the family and the cops!). Haven't seen anything in the papers yet, but hopefully they'll lock him away for longer than his previous (10-year?) stint in the slammer. Some mighty scary tweakers out there.

Maybe they should have taken Joe Biden's advise.
