'Nother project DONE! - Carey - 05-10-2013 This spring I got tired of our "temporary" low platform bed that was going on 8 years...& we had a pile of leftover aluminum from the house project... So I built a bed from aluminum 2X2's & angle Well today I finally got around to getting a photo of the bed - links: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PunaWebFriends/photos/album/1848375064/pic/611696803/view?picmode=&mode=tn&order=ordinal&start=21&count=20&dir=asc or http://www.flickr.com/photos/71791930@N04/8727629210/in/photostream Sorry you need yahoo for the first... RE: 'Nother project DONE! - David M - 05-10-2013 Very nice Carey. Couldn't get past the ad on yahoo, but Flickr worked fine. David Ninole Resident Please visit vacation.ninolehawaii.com RE: 'Nother project DONE! - lquade - 05-10-2013 it is even nicer than the photo![] carey you never stop impressing me! RE: 'Nother project DONE! - pslamont - 05-10-2013 I have seen it up close and personal and it is very cool! I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says "Oh Crap, She's up!" RE: 'Nother project DONE! - microage97 - 05-13-2013 Nice!Love the tile as well RE: 'Nother project DONE! - fishnchamp1 - 05-13-2013 Awesome use of scrap, great looking design too! This is the work of a genuine artist and craftsman. I was especially impressed with the amazingly lifelike stuffed doggie at the end of the bed on the floor. RE: 'Nother project DONE! - Carey - 05-13-2013 Glen, The stuffed (quite literally) doggie will even will eat, drink & bark & play tug...but within no time the batteries need recharging & back to the lump at the end of the bed.... Why to choose a dog based on the floor color....hair doesn't show up as much; why not to choose dog based on floor color...TRIPPING hazard....can't tell you how many times in the early morning we haven't realized the lump was there! ADDED: forgot to thank everyone for all of the kind words... it is fun to try these weird projects & fun to share! RE: 'Nother project DONE! - john the architect - 05-23-2013 I have not seen what you did (nice if images were more easily slipped into this site but I'm not complaining, Rob) but congratulations on accomplishing SOMETHING. So many times we get sidetracked by rats, two legged rats, and other things like time and money that delay us from our worthy and noble goals. Way to go!
