Helicopters 5-28-11 in Kapoho Area - Kapohocat - 05-28-2013
After a couple of us where like "WOW! They just BARELY cleared our coconut trees..." and we a little irritated, we called around and found out that the (very) low flying helicopter was Search and Rescue.
I hope they find whomever they are looking for.

I saw them here in Waa Waa, too. Not flying quite as low here, but heading away from Kapoho. Hope there's a good outcome.

Just in my online morning news readings, read that a body was found floating just offshore the lava entry area. Three rental cars were parked at the area where lava hikers go in. Don't know if more are missing...
I assume that's the chopper activity you're witnessing.
