hi carrie!

sorry to say I don't know about any websites, other than punaweb, but i do recall a rather nice rental in HPP ~ 1100 a month on the free classifieds section a few months ago. I'd use the Search feature and try to find renters who have posted ads in the past on punaweb, couldn't hurt to contact them even if they don't currently have an ad active in the free classifieds section.

sorry I couldn't be of more help! good luck with your search

aloha

I used craigslist and got an absolutely awesome rental. It took a bit of sorting and knowing exactly where I wanted to live, but it worked!

We had a really bad experience with Daylum when we first moved here, granted rentals were booming then but they were charging a $25 dollar "application processing fee" but kept telling us the house we wanted to look at was already rented, even though they ran the add for literally weeks. I compared notes with others who experienced the same thing for at least a couple of years. We had great experiences renting from Ginoza though, couldn't ask for better from a property management company.

Good luck, moving always sucks.

Careyrie, ditto to Carols statement on Daylum...but that was a long 8 years ago for us...

Erik of Aina Realty got us our perfect rental in HPP prior to our buying...

Neighbors have used Jordon Property Mgt & Ala Kai...not sure if I can recommend them... but they are out there:

Jimbo has used craigslist for the 2 Kona rentals he has had...it is a little chunky to use their search, but you can easily get down Hawaii Island...then use the search for community, subdivision...or district...may need to do a few searches to get all of the potential properties to look at... but there is always a craigslist caveat...there are some crazies that are on that site...
May also want to check out Zillow -

I have friends who offer rentals short term. They work hard and are honest people. Don't know if this link will help you but putting it here for you to check out, Carrie.
