Island Swing Big Band at the Hilo Elks Club on Kinoole Street. Should be good, with lots of swing dance music.

Uncle Roberts is all I do every New Years Eve, Best New Years Party Ive ever been too! awesome fun time w/ local kine music food and plenty of joy.
the perk is drinking 'Awa after 'Awa (going for 10 this year), and then waking up refreshed at 7am new years day... like every year Ive been back here.... Awesome fun w/No Hangovers

I lived in Bay Area for a long time too and Uncles is as good as anything I ever did there ... w/o the hangover and high entrance fee....

PS good fireworks show hanging from Mango Tree out front, and even some pro ones in the air too.
