running on generator.... I'm down on 13th Maku'u anybody with power? I just saw what looks like 3 or so Helco trucks go by...Hmmmm.

it was the helco trucks. One is set up in front of my house. They are checking the fuses of the transformer on the pole there. I guess that last big lightening strike down towards 10th or so messed up the top of a pole bad.

Thanks!! But I've got gas so didn't go hungry. I had my Kindle and was reading before curiosity got to me and wanted to see what was going on on the internet!! Other wise I wouldn't have drug out the generator LOL

Of late, HELCO has been running many many commercials about their wonderful remote diagnostics, which let them fix problems "in minutes" and "without dispatching a crew".
I'm sure HELCO would never, ever misrepresent themselves.
